We are Shiva Shobitha’s parents . We have known Devin to be kind and generous. His love for animals especially Ivy knew no bounds. I first met Devin at the Bar when I went to watch Phantom of the Opera where I introduced myself as Shiva’s mum. When he visited us in Malaysia, we had a great time doing the tourist stuff. I will cherish the Phantom merch he got for me when Phantom decided to close for good. Rest in peace Devin. It is sad that we could not say goodbye to you in person. Om shanti.

Think I’ll Go Out To Alberta
I met Dev in Alberta in 2015. We’d both been cast as Corps members in HBO’s attempted ‘Lewis & Clark’ historical drama. Dev felt like the real thing from the get-go, whereas I was just the son-of-a-hairdresser from rural England. We all spent 2 weeks at boot camp for the project, prior to any filming. We all drank bourbon and slept under canvas beneath the stars. Well, most of us slept. Dev liked to “borrow” a horse instead, and ride into the nearest township… which wasn’t really that near. He was always first in line for breakfast the next morning.
